BMW M2 (G87) Full car Satin Conversion

This beautiful G87 M2 came in for a full car Satin PPF to transform its gloss finish into beautiful matte. New BMW M2 arguably has one of the most difficult bumpers to apply paint protection film on because of so many recess areas and sharp ridges. The main difference between gloss PPF and Satin is that when doing satin conversions surface coverage is the main priority to achieve a clean look without original gloss color showing through.

This means we need to avoid seams where possible and perform bulk installation rather than pre-cut kit by the software. Great example of this would be the rear bumper where 99% of shops would simply put 2 seams on each side of the rear bumper while its possible to do it in 1 piece, however it takes much longer and requires much more skill. The front bumper of the G87 M2 on the other hand is essentially impossible to do in 1 piece therefore we hide the seams on the ridges where the human eye does not notice it unless you really try to look for it.
